Polar Bear oil painting

No way back. Today there are only about 20,000 polar bears in the Arctic region. With a mixture of cool and warm colors I wanted to capture the loneliness and hopelessness of this polar bear. Once started, there is no turning back. New passages are navigable, very profitable for our politicians and economic leaders. But this bear will never return. Preserving our environment requires much more effort from all of us.
