Above the clouds, which must probably be boundless freedom ...
the views of such a coastal landscape, I know of many flights. The horizon melts at infinity. Roads run through the ground far below, just as narrow lines. Also, they disappear in the distance. Fields in structures and bays are strung together like pearls.


Here hover above the absolute silence that is only granted to very few organisms. Updrafts guess, use thermals and currents to glide. Even in sleep, this bird can still turn his rounds, because alternate both hemispheres.


All this is probably a world unto itself. Can a world that can only dream about, or just paint.

Über den Wolken, muß die Freiheit wohl grenzenlos sein...

Den Blick auf eine solche Küstenlandschaft kenne ich von vielen Flügen. Der Horizont zerfließt im Unendlichen. Straßen durchziehen den Boden tief unten nur noch als schmale Linien. Auch sie verschwinden am Horizont. Felder werden zu Strukturen und Buchten reihen sich aneinander wie Perlen.

Hier oben in der absoluten Stille schweben, dass ist nur ganz wenigen Lebewesen vergönnt. Aufwinde erahnen, Thermik und Strömungen zum Gleiten nutzen. Sogar im Schlaf kann dieser Vogel noch seine Runden drehen, weil sich beide Gehirnhälften abwechseln.

All das ist wohl eine Welt für sich. Eine Welt, die man nur erträumen, oder eben malen kann.
